Massage in Clifton Park, NY

Massage Therapy in Clifton Park, NY
The amount of pressure a therapist uses should always be within your comfort level.
Please speak with the therapist during the massage if the pressure needs to be adjusted.

It is normal to experience some minor muscle soreness for a few days following
your treatment. This may be the result of the lactic acid leaving your body (a metabolic
waste product that gets trapped in the muscles.)

Drinking plenty of fluid following your treatment will help your body flush out lactic
acid and other waste products. This may help diminish any soreness you may feel, as
well as hydrate your tissue. Some great beverages include: water, herbal teas and fruit juice.

If you have questions at any time, please do not hesitate to ask! Good communication
between yourself and your therapist is crucial in attaining the most beneficial treatment!

A Word about Modesty
The amount of clothing you remove for a massage depends upon your comfort level.
Some types of massage can be done fully clothed, where others require contact with bare skin.

It is sufficient to remove clothing to the underwear. Please be assured that the therapist has
been trained in specific draping techniques which are designed to uphold your modesty at all
times. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, please do not hesitate to say so. Your comfort is
crucial at all times during the massage! If it makes you more comfortable, shorts may be worn.
Removing the bra is optional, but the therapist may ask for permission to unhook the bra
while working on the back.
